My Story

Full disclosure - I’m a Mom. Of THREE. Yup, three. The trinity. A mom with a terrific Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science that I got this lovely diploma from that is, other than my kids, my crowning achievement. Except, now, that shiny paper now sits sullen and unused, but still very appreciated for what it is. A promise I kept to myself, and something I followed through on. Proof I did what I said I would do. This proved something to me: that I have grit and that I can do hard things. Especially considering that I became a mom while in college. Me and my round belly sitting in class, determined, but tired. My son got to see his momma graduate when he was 4.

Beyond that? Well, I create. It is what lights my soul on fire and fills my cup. All of this is here because (while Motherhood is this INCREDIBLE voyage, it is not the entirety of myself) it is the expression of a soul that desires to work with her hands, play with color, learn new things, and create something outside of myself that has the sole purpose of JOY. My joy, and yours if you decide to invite my art into your home and allow it to be part of your small moments & small spaces, or share it as a gift. This entire website, these pieces, my art, the expression of my imagination is a passion project for me. It’s not a job. It is life being lived and being lived well. My life is a collection of small moments.
