Spiderwebs are stories. The threads that bind and connect us. The slivers of life that we weave as we grow and change. We are all weavers. Of fate, stories, love, loss, change, growth, and years. In the lore of many cultures, the Spider is the spinner of manifest destiny, reality, time, cycles, history, creation, and interconnectedness. The spider holds the stories of the people in the tapestry of her silken threads.
Stardust is what we are all made of. Created inside of a star before the Earth was born of the Cosmos. Nothing on Earth is created, nor destroyed, only borrowed. We are borrowed from the Stars. From which we come, and to which we return. Space dust. Every element in our bodies was something before it became us. We are made of trees, animals, and soil. All of which has been in one form or another before it became those things. The cycle of life. Stories. Connectedness. Just like the spider’s web.

All items are imagined, painted, and/or embellished personally by me. Because of the handmade nature of original pieces, no two are exactly alike and each has its own flourishes & unique characteristics.
During my creative process I hold space in my mind to imagine each piece going forth into the world and bringing joy wherever it ends up. Some of my favorite items in my home are my mugs that are part of my morning ritual, or those things that decorate personal spaces around my desk. It’s the small things that bring me big joy in the mundane moments each and everyday. The very thought of creating something that shares that joy with someone else just moves me. :)
